Been in the travel industry for 37yrs. I’m the owner of Making Magical Vacations Travel which I started in 2017 my agency is celebrating 8yrs. I have 25 “MAGICAL” Specialists within the United States. My agency is directly contracted with MAJOR travel suppliers from Theme Parks & Resorts / Cruises/ River Cruises/ ALL-Inclusive / Global & Domestic Destinations & Rail. Within the past 37yrs of being in the travel industry I have personally built long standing relationships with all of my travel suppliers.

I’m also a 26yr Notary within the State of PA.

I’m the wife of my loving uber driving husband Stephen Thomas Forte of 29yrs (dated 6yrs total together 34yrs), and the mom of our 5 sons, 3 in heaven and 2 here Vincent (25) and Dominic (23).. My eldest son managed 12 Spirit of Halloween Stores before working for the State last year (2024) , and my middle son Dominic was a contestant on Season 3 of Lego Masters (Ep.3) which you can watch on Hulu! .

Because of our youngest son Tony’s 12 yr medical journey I have sat and fundraised on MANY Non-Profit Boards such as (Gift of Life, Family Advisory Council of the Penn State Children’s Hospital, Make A Wish, Children’s Miracle Network and was Cub Master of Pack’s #96 & #11 for my sons’ Vincent and Dominic ) …

I was recently diagnosed on 1/9/2025 w/Stage 1 Breast Cancer (HER2+ ER- & PR-) which I had to take a brief hiatus from attending any network functions that I belong to as my immune system was comprised. As of 6/10/2025 my surgical pathology report indicated that I’m cancer FREE-I’m extremely blessed to have the MOST PHENOMENAL teams that both God & Jesus brought to me. I will still be in treatment (non-chemo ) every 3wks till 1/2/2026 and then this journey will be in my rear view mirror with my windshield clear as a bell!

Throughout my journey I still along with my team of MAGICAL Specialists planned  vacations for multigenerational families and couples , I also plan vacations for children who are critically ill /and or terminal w/Make a Wish Foundation of Philadelphia, Delaware and the Susquehanna Valley & The Ashley Lauren Foundation of Brielle, NJ. I also plan vacations for the After Action Foundation of Lancaster which sends active duty military men and women who are currently serving along with their families on vacation before they are sent into duty.

As someone who has been in the travel industry for 37yrs, I personally know that when families are on their vacations, the one thing they are trying to do is reconnect with their family and create memories that will last a lifetime. I, am Monica Forte, owner of Making MAGICAL Vacations Travel. However, when families use BIG Box stores, Online Travel Agencies, Friends or Family to guide them and help them plan what they expect to be a “Magical” Vacation ends up becoming a “TRAGICAL” vacation.

I, and my specialists aren’t naive that anyone can book their own vacations, however what winds up happening when not utilizing someone who knows the destinations is something that might seem simple to someone becomes a very BIG deal when left out altogether and instead of the expectation they were looking for out of the vacation is now the only thing the family will remember is not the memories that could’ve been made but instead that simple something that was totally forgotten and left out. We are in the business of Making “MAGICAL” Vacations happen, NOT TRAGICAL ones.

When our clients hire us we take our name seriously and we take the frustration, confusion, and overwhelm out of the equation and instead with the family we together craft and create in the vacation planning process the memories that they want to create , so that everyone will have MAGICAL memories no matter what the destination will last a lifetime.

By the presence of listening , we can envelope our families in the stories of their vacations so when they come home they cannot wait to get back there again and create more.
